Does this have substance or is it just something and Nothing?

Substance is the point, I think. There is not much to engage here. This is pretty basic and could be accomplished on a laptop these days.

I dare say the singer has something to offer but it's not coming through. I barely made it through to the end. It's all clean I guess but it's not exactly imaginative.

I wasn't sure about this track to begin with - it didn't seem to develop in any way.

After about 5 minutes I got into the swing and it suddenly made sense - a song called nothing needs some monotony and repetition and to be overlong at 7 minutes to drive its point home.

I like the song very much now.
